Čreta pri Kokarjah
It is a settlement of lonely houses, scattered on hills in the centre part of Dobrovlje, a group of houses with land on impermeable volcanic stoneware. On a watershed ridge stand churches of St. Catherine and of the Holy Virgin from the late Gothic (near the mountain lodge) from the second half of the 15th century.
The church of Holy Virgin had in its original form a bell tower. In the 16th century a sacristy was added and in 1720 a chapel of St. Ana with an altar, built ten years later. A shed in front and a choir were built in 1850. The church of St. Cahterine has a well preserved flat ceiling in the aisle and a ribbed arch in the presbytery. The sacristy is an extension from 1867.
In Čreta, in October 1941 the first battalion of Styria fought the first battle against the German enemy.
